The best option is to use at the DMV parking lot directly across the street from the Colombo Club as a meet up and then carpool to the ceremony site. There is an option for overflow parking but better to plan ahead and buddy up :)
This may seem like a little effort, but we assure you it'll be worth it. The Mather Redwood Grove at the UC Botanical Garden is stunning and as our guest you'll have an opportunity to enjoy the Bot free of charge. Make your way from the familiar poppies of California to the exotic flora of the Mediterranean. We love it here and we know you will too!

Directions to the Colombo Club - 5321 Claremont Avenue, Oakland 94618
- Take Hwy 24 west, exit on Telegraph Avenue.
- Turn left at the light onto Telegraph.
- Turn left onto Claremont Avenue for about 1/4 mile to the Colombo Club.
- Take Hwy 101 North to 880 North.
- Take 980 East to 24 East.
- Take the Claremont Avenue exit and turn right onto Claremont.
- Take the Bay Bridge (80 East) to 580 East to 24 East exit to Berkeley, Walnut Creek.
- Exit on Claremont Avenue and turn right onto Claremont.
Directions to the U.C Botanical Garden
From Concord, Walnut Creek area
- Take Hwy. 24 West (680 to 24 West).
- Take the Fish Ranch Road exit and turn right onto Fish Ranch Road. Go uphill until the first stop sign.
- Turn right at the stop sign (Grizzly Peak Boulevard) and go approximately 3 miles until the next stop sign.
- Turn left at the stop sign (Centennial Drive) and go downhill approximately 1/4 mile.The Garden entrance is on the left just below the parking lot on the right side of Centennial.
- Exit at University Avenue in Berkeley from 80/580.
- Go about 2 miles to campus (the street ends) and turn left at the stoplight onto Oxford Street.
- Turn right onto Hearst Avenue at a stoplight.
- Go uphill and turn right at stoplight onto Gayley Road.
- Turn left onto Stadium Rimway at the stop sign (just past the Greek Theater).
- Turn left at the next stop sign onto Centennial Drive. Go uphill about 1 mile. The Garden entrance is on the right just below the parking lot on the left side of Centennial.
- Exit "Hwy. 13 to Berkeley," which becomes Tunnel Road and then Ashby Avenue.
- Turn right onto College Avenue at a stoplight.
- Turn right onto Dwight Way at a stoplight.
- Turn left onto Prospect Street (two blocks above the stoplight at Piedmont Avenue).
- Turn right onto Stadium Rimway (around the back of the stadium).
- Turn right onto Centennial Drive at the stop sign. Go uphill about 1 mile. The Garden entrance is on the right just below the parking lot on the left side of Centennial.
- 880 to 980
- 980 to Hwy. 24 (towards Walnut Creek)
- Exit at Claremont Avenue and turn left.
- Turn left onto College Avenue at a stoplight.
